Who we are
We focus on practical pest control for Lake Erie properties — year-round houses on harbour streets, seasonal cottages that sit empty through the winter, and small businesses that need weekday treatments. Years of experience in this area taught us that lakeshore moisture, closed cottages and farm edges create different pest patterns than inland cities. Mice find gaps in cottage foundations after a quiet winter. Ants trail into kitchens when spring damp arrives. Wasps build under eaves and decks once the weather warms. We inspect first, explain what we find and give you a price before any work starts.
Port Dover Pest is the name on this site. We do not use another company brand on our pages or invoices for this location.
How we work
- Licensed and insured technicians
- Free phone estimates — an inspection is required for an exact quote on larger jobs such as bed bugs or multi-unit work
- Health Canada-registered products applied according to the label
- Bed bugs with Aprehend only — we do not offer heat treatment; a prep sheet is provided when you book
- Wildlife removal and sealing of entry points — we do not offer attic clean-up or structural repairs as part of wildlife work
When you call, we ask what you are seeing and where. That phone conversation is free and usually enough to give a typical price range. If the job is larger, we book an inspection so the quote matches the property.
Office hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Leave a message after hours and we call back the next business day. We do not advertise round-the-clock or emergency dispatch. If you have a wasp nest that is active and hard to avoid, call during office hours and we will give you the earliest appointment we have and tell you what to do in the meantime.
Service ethos
Customer satisfaction is our priority. We treat you, your family and your property with respect. Treatments are planned for the pest you have — not a one-size spray. For mice we treat and seal ground-level entry points. For wasps we remove the nest. For bed bugs we apply Aprehend bands where bugs travel. For wildlife we remove the animal humanely and seal how it got in.
